Bed Bugs What they look like: An adult bed bug is about 1/5 inch long and 1/8 inch wide. It's reddish brown to mahogany-colored body is greatly flattened and oval shaped. Where they can be found: Bed bugs generally hide in cracks and crevices during normal daylight hours. They enter such areas because of the shape of their bodies. They are typically found in the folds and tufts of mattresses, coils of springs, and upholstery of chairs and sofas. |

What they look like: Adults are pale to medium brown and about ½ to 5/8 inch long They also have wings, but never fly.
Where they can be found: German Roaches prefer warm, moist areas with low air currents. They are the most common cockroach species in houses, apartments, restaurants, hotels and other institutions throughout the United States. |

What they look like: An adult rat has a stocky body, weighing between 12-16 ounces. The nose is blunt, and the ears are small, close set, and do not reach the eyes when pulled down. Bigger than the house mouse.
Where they can be found: Rats are generally found in and around commercial buildings rather than residences. They will stay within 0 – 25 feet of a food source. They usually nest outside but will go inside a structure to find food. Waste droppings can be found around dumpsters, food storage areas and the nest. |
